The Buff series is made up of past work that has been buffed, or scrubbed. New works are produced from finished past works, works in progress, discards, and remnants. The Buffs strike a  balance of letting go of an idea, mentality, or practice, while using the physical object as a means of moving forward. The shapes and forms take their inspiration from procedures and techniques usually intended to protect a piece, such as crating, while essentially destroying it at the same time. The emphasis of this new body of work are ideas surrounding individual agency, process, excess, and renewal. This series began in 2025.
