The Postcard series started during the Covid-19 lockdown phase in 2020. They began as palette cleansers to use all remaining bits of paint and other remnants. Without regular studio time, materials and space were extremely limited so printed card stock became the base for this practice. While the postcard itself has remained, the process and outcomes have naturally evolved. This exercise gave birth to the Beacons series in 2022.
