The series Have You Ever Read 1984? is an exercise built around the process of working through something. The visual elements and tools used to make them take their inspiration from urban exteriors and their natural state of exposure. The motion within the static image evolved from the idea of the “memory hole.” In each piece a metaphor may be discovered: information concealed or deciphered, explosions, implosions, collapse, battles, masked warnings, disruption within an established system, or anarchy; all could be considered correct. This series began in 2024.
